Alpha legal draftWritten for clear informed use during testing. The operator should have qualified counsel review entity details, jurisdiction, and launch requirements before a broad public release.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Inner Circle Social, a service within the Together Platform (collectively, “Inner Circle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing the service, or accepting these Terms, you agree to them and to the policies incorporated here.
The service is in an early alpha. Features, limits, and availability may change as the product is tested and improved.
2. Eligibility and accounts
During the alpha, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Accounts are personal. You may not sell, transfer, impersonate, or create an account for another person without lawful authority. Profiles are not publicly searchable, but authorized administrators can identify the registered owner of an account for support, security, safety, compliance, and legal purposes.
3. Private circles are not invisible spaces
You control which people and circles receive your content. Other members may still save, photograph, quote, or disclose what they can access, so share thoughtfully. Privacy controls limit access; they do not guarantee secrecy.
We may use automated security signals and limited, authorized human review when content is reported, when necessary to protect the service or a person, or when legally required. We do not routinely read private posts, photos, or messages.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, resize, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, back up, and improve the service according to your sharing choices. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backups, legal preservation, or content another person lawfully retained.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and share your content, including photos of other people and copyrighted material.
5. Acceptable use and safety
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety and Reporting Policy, Copyright Policy, and Age Policy. You may not use privacy features to organize violence, exploitation, harassment, extremist activity, fraud, or other unlawful conduct.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe accounts, scrape the service, or interfere with security.
- Do not upload malware, stolen data, non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or content that unlawfully threatens or targets people.
- Do not recruit for or materially support terrorist, violent extremist, or organized hate activity.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts, preserve evidence, or contact appropriate authorities when we reasonably believe these Terms or law have been violated. We will consider context and severity and, when safe and practical, provide notice and a way to appeal.
7. Service changes, alpha risks, and warranties
The alpha is provided “as is” and “as available.” It may contain bugs, lose test data, or be interrupted. Keep independent copies of important files. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We may change or discontinue alpha features. Material changes to these Terms will be dated and presented for renewed acceptance when appropriate.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Inner Circle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or harm caused by another member. Our aggregate liability arising from the alpha will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so the limitations apply only to the extent lawful.
9. Ending an account
You may request deletion through account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the alpha. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.
10. Disputes and governing rules
Before filing a claim, contact us through in-app Support and allow 30 days for an informal resolution, unless urgent relief is required. The governing law and forum should be finalized with counsel using the operator’s legal entity and principal place of business. Mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction still apply.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the in-app bug and support system. Before a broad public launch, the operator’s legal name, mailing address, legal email, and governing jurisdiction must be added to this section.
