Alpha legal draftWritten for clear informed use during testing. The operator should have qualified counsel review entity details, jurisdiction, and launch requirements before a broad public release.
Active accounts
Profile, circle, content, message, event, travel, collection, and media records remain while needed to provide the active account. Operational logs are limited to periods appropriate for reliability, support, fraud prevention, and security.
Deleted content and recovery
Deleted media may remain in a recovery state for the period shown in the product, after which active copies are permanently removed. Backups may retain encrypted copies for a limited rotation period and are not restored to ordinary product access.
Account deletion
A verified deletion request begins removal of the account and content under its control. Content shared by another owner, lawful records of transactions, signed agreements, security evidence, and records required for disputes or law may remain in limited form.
Alpha schedule
- Security and administrator audit logs: target 24 months unless an investigation or law requires longer.
- Electronic policy and NDA acceptance records: the life of the agreement plus the applicable legal limitation period.
- Closed support and safety records: target 24 months, adjusted for severity and legal needs.
- Deleted media recovery: use the recovery period displayed in the product; production backup rotation must be documented before launch.
Review
These are alpha targets, not a substitute for a finalized retention schedule. The operator should approve exact periods with counsel and confirm that infrastructure deletion and backup procedures match this policy before public launch.
